Nothing to report from Milano, as this is only an overnight stop before catching our flight to Birmingham to meet with Murray and Eily
The city looks to be like any other city and looks more modern than Rome, although I'm sure that there are older historical buildings here as well. We haven't really seen anything of the city other than on the train from Monterosso, the tram ride from the station and our walk around the strrets close to the hotel last night.
I don't know why, but I had a very strong feeling that I had seen the Milano train station before, but I'm not sure where - it is a large steel structure with some lattice work that makes for quite a decent roof to look at.
That's it for now - I'm not sure when we will post next as I'm not sure about internett access for the next 10 days - Murray has organised all accomodation in England.
