I am actually writing this on Thursday 18 September.
We have had enormous problems locating appropriate internet sites to do any postings - we didn't get the time to post anything about Pompei and the day at Pisa was so long that we didn't get an opportunity that day either.
When we arrived in Athens on the day after Pisa, there were no internet cafes anywhere near the hotel and the hotel rate at 1 Euro for 2 mintes was very expensive for a person who types as slowly as I do - that is around $50 an hour.
The ship was worse - it had satellite for which it charged 1 euro a minute - $100 an hour - so that was not an option either.
The unit we are in at the moment as access to wireless internet and two very cheap internet cafes within 100 meters. After all the issues we have had finding access, we are suddenly flooded with it!
We will post something on the cruise in the next 24 hours or less, as tomorrow we leave Italy for Singapore - our holiday is, disappointingly, nearing its conclusion.
