In our application film, we present Berlin because we love to go there. Exploring people & places off the beaten path is something we get crazy about!

Nancy (behind the camera) and Gabi (the host) have a passion for film making. Combine this with the fact that we consider ourselves two globetrotters with a huge sense of adventure and we become prime candidates for this scholarship.

We would love to start up a travel film channel on YouTube and dive into different cultures with Gabi as the host and Nancy working her magic behind the camera. We regard this scholarship as a huge opportunity to realize this dream.

Doing an episode on Rio de Janeiro during Carnival would be an amazing experience. We expect colourful pictures, and amazing sights and sounds. Gabi, a passionate soccer player, would take this opportunity to play foot volley for the first time with the locals of Rio. Also, we cannot wait to visit the WWOF home stay. Gabi had volunteered in Khayelitsha (South Africa) and so has Nancy in a WWOF orphanage in Nepal.

We will use this opportunity to the fullest to explore Rio's undoubtedly unique character in addition to representing "World Nomads" to the fullest. Obrigada!
