Happy Christmas to everyone!
I am writing on Christmas Day from our beautiful 5 star resort in Thailand and we've had an amazing Christmas. Well, it's not been the festive xmas that we're used to in England but we've had a pretty special one nonetheless. The day has been spent drinking cocktails and swimming in the infinity pool in Thailand!
We arrived in Thailand on Sunday after the MOST HORRIFIC bus journey from Cambodia... The bus was overbooked so they took some people off and put them in a taxi, then some other locals got on and there were no other seats so they added some plastic chairs! The road between Siem Reap and Poipet is notoriously bumpy and it was pretty terrible. After 4 hours we were glad to get to Thailand...!
After a night in Bangkok we headed to the airport and caught a flight to Surat Thani where we then caught a ferry over to Ko Samui.
The resort here is pretty special and we have a great apartment which means that we can make our own breakfast and cocktails etc...!
Days here are spent by the pool or at the private beach and we leave here on Sat 29th before flying to Bangkok and then on to Singapore on the 30th for New Years...
