About thalissa

I love that moment when I read on the menu and order the strangest food’s name and then surprised by it’s beautiful taste. Or nasty. I love the time when I should do the shopping, bargain intensely, take pictures, go to the ancient church and museum, guess the direction, ask local people, do the stupid-new-things, look for unidentified tour objects, find new sensational place that never mentioned in the maps, or just smell the local scent on the road. Yes, I love that every single moment.

I have a passion to be a freelance writer once a time. I always try to draw the story about today’s excitement on my trip. But to be honest, it is highly difficult to do. It will take a week even a month after to release my writing. It made me have forgotten some details of the moment. And I hate it. I need strong encouragement.

Now I am 23 years old and doing my first year as a civil servant in East Borneo. This scholarship turns on my desire to begin a new journey, to do something different from the routine. I will explore Beijing, travel myself, lean on nobody and catch the rough deadline. Vastly exciting!
