My Scholarship entry - Because the journey is the worthier part

Born and bred an Army kid, life has taught me to learn how to adjust, to settle down one minute and be prepared to be uprooted the other, to fall in love with the road and then some more with the landscape, to feel and live every moment and most importantly to take life as it comes, step by step, and make it your own.

I thank the heavens every day for when my parents decided to gift me a Kodak film camera on my 13th birthday, marking a new start for me in my life, and earmarking the passion and love for photography that still burns within, and is as fiery and hot as it was then. Graduating in media and communication, I got my first DSLR in college. which has been my constant companion in every journey I undertake.

I yearn to learn and enjoy life, soaking in experiences at every step and gaining knowledge along the way, broadening my horizon and helping me give shape and perspective to the diverse aspects of all walks of life and help me discover myself.
