My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

The majority of Parisian citizens seemed to prefer racing the streets on bicycles to walking, a novel concept for me. I was itching to join them!

Having no tripod, I leant against a wall and held my breath as I waited for eligible bicyclists to pass by.
Photograph details:
Sony A200, 18-70mm standard lens.
Aperture f8, shutter speed 1/13 and ISO 400.
Mode: Shutter speed priority.
Edit: Minor crop, slight brightening.
