By the pond nearby, soon after yet another ever drenching rain, in Agnes Waters, I bide my time for the few hours of light cloud and sunshine, testing my new camera, by slowly chasing dragonflies.

During yet another heavy downpour, through yet another week of storms, roads cut off to get out of town, a praying mantis comes into the hostel, possibly to escape the flooding rain. It has one leg missing, which was somehow torn right off, a few meters away.

On my last night in this hostel in Agnes Waters here, I finally see it, though rushed the time may be, just a few minute till they removed it, is all I had, to see and photograph this large and beautiful a Australian Green Tree Frog!
