    On occasion, a black swamp wallaby may hop out for few minutes! If lucky, one the black swamp wallabies may show up, maybe even 2 or 3! They can move fast, don't always stay long and were easily scared off! I have included an image of an older swamp wallaby here - the younger ones have a dark chocolate - black coat, but like humans, they start to grey as they get older, making this one a real senior! You are most likely to see them if you sit at your section of the campground, enjoying the peace and serenity, and they may hang around longer if you are quiet, calm and slow moving. Views[183] I was lucky also to be woken by the kookaburras - which only showed up 1 or 2 of my days at camp. I loved this shot - which was one of my last shots before leaving camp, to return home! I was watching and following it, as it flew from tree to tree, for at least 60 minutes, maybe more. I loved this shot the most, as it looks like the kookaburra is an extension of the tree branch! I stood on my car bonnet, just before saying goodbye to this beautiful spot, to get this shot too, as it was high up! This is where the kookaburra stayed the longest -- The extension of a tree! Views[134] On the dry mornings, it's great to go for a stroll and catch the first light and the sunrise - A different spot each day! Beautiful sunrises are only a short walk from the camp ground! Views[179] The sand had a great drop about 1 foot past the beach of the bays' shelly sandy surface! On both sides of the sand, lay rockyness - often with a sea bird or two! As yo can see in this image, the of the side rockyness, on the far edge of the rocks, in the distance, sits a very calm sea bird, enjoying the views, waiting for it's next meal! Views[169] Bush camping by the sea. I love the city life, i love keeping busy, i love doing different things... but... sometimes life, the real world, just gets too much, and you just need to escape! Life was getting way too busy, screwing me around in every direction, starting to make me sick. With lack of money, I found and bought a free camping directory. I thought - I have a few days free with nothing to do, time to get back to an old love - camping in nature! Why not go bush and try free camping, away from all modern technology, and live the old fashioned way for a few days! I chose to go to the free camp not far outside of Batemans Bay, NSW. It was beautiful, even more so with only 1 or 2 neighbours, who were clean a quiet, no loud noise, and the the mobile phone switched off, so no distractions! The campsite was part of Batemans Bay Marine Park . Views[154]
