I suppose being sheltered as a kid will make you curious about the world. Homeschooled from kindergarten to GED in the Boston suburbs, my life changed dramatically with a move to rural Maine. Since then, i've lived on a 6-hectare seabird island, and rambled to places as different as Kenai, Alaska and Erbil, Iraq; soaked in Reykjavik's public pools and trekked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. I'm a sometimes musician, sometimes writer, now more than ever filmmaker, always thinker and dreamer. Fascinated with the ways people relate to each other and to the earth, a student of culture and agriculture and of the politics and philosophies that mediate between people and land. After ten years in Maine, i'm urbanizing: back to Boston for the cultural stimulation it holds. If you want to learn more, feel free to ramble along with me at ramblingwejak.blogspot.com.
