Snoring under the UFO

It was the middle of the night and darkness was ruling. We were in the middle of a totally deserted area in the central region of Spain. I had already driven for more than 8 hours. Even though I was extremely tired and exhausted, yet my feet were still pumping the gas into the engine. I and my travel-mate were looking for some motel to check-into the bed but it seemed like there was no sign of any living organism around. We were on a straight stretch of road when I saw a bright light like sun, almost 100 meters ahead of us. It was approximately 200 meters above the ground. It was an unbelievable sight which sweetened the very soul of me as though I was the only witness. I shouted, “Are you seeing what I am seeing?” and gazed at him who had the same question for me. Neither I was dreaming while driving nor was it a fit of hallucination. Two people can’t have a fit of the same hallucination simultaneously about a strange light in the sky. That light was similar to a single headlight of a car. Also it wasn’t a plane as the light was too low and slow moving.I pressed the master lock button of the car. The light disappeared after making a small horizontal trajectory. Whatever we had witnessed vanished in thin air. Both of us were all eaten up with fear but we were too shy to share this thought with each other.
Finally, we saw the lights of a small industrial town and we found one hotel shortly, but too expensive. we found a cheaper option but that place was also not affordable. Meanwhile, I had an idea which I wasn’t sure my friend would like but it was very “Budget-friendly”. I proposed to park the car in a safe place and sleep in it. His heart sank within him at the idea of staying in the open because of the mysterious light that we had seen just half an hour ago. But I was too exhausted to drive a single inch, he had to terms with me. We freed ourselves from the nature’s call & locked us inside the car. Since I had been on the driving seat for a very long time, I took the sleeping bag and occupied the back seat and started snoring. My friend had to take my seat and he covered himself with his jacket to protect himself from the slaps of January’s chill. It was 4am in the morning when he kicked me complaining that he was freezing to death in the jacket that was not even enough to cover his full body. I started the engine to turn the heater on which made the interior of the car comfortable. After that, I was back in my bag with peaceful sleep.
