We got used to consume and look everywhere but not really appreciating what we see. We view in quantities without filtering and thinking. My idea through photography is to SEE and explore what we see, how, and what we feel. It has been more than 12 years that I have been trying to transmit what I see in my photos. This is why, I love taking portraits. Grasping the sensations and feelings of people. Trying to move away from only the ISO, the aperture, the flash, etc. and to simply show how I see the world. This would be an incredible opportunity and a stepping stone to learning not only the rich history and culture of the Andean mountains, but also to learn about photography.
Traveling with Jason Edwards would be a privileged as he is the forefront of natural history photography and his portfolio is the most breathtaking contribution to science. Mr. Edwards does not only taken a photo, he tells a story and I would greatly appreciate having the possibility to share that story.
