My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

From the wild animals, to the mysterious Maasai people; from the stunning landscape, to the happy children... Tanzania offers a lot more than what I expected. After all, it's usually the unexpected that surprises us the most.

I love telling stories with my photos, and capturing the precious moments in the journey. I am not an observer, I am a part of the story. Every time before I leave home for a big or small trip, I pack not just my camera and lenses, but also an open heart. A heart that never frames herself up. There are many challenges when shooting in an environment that you are not familiar with, however I believe that a curious heart will always lead me to a better shot.

It would be a journey-of-a-lifetime to go to Oman with World Nomads and NG, to capture its incredible landscapes, rich colors; to become friends with the locals, to laugh with them and to listen to their untold stories; and of course, to learn and to experience. I am ready to present an amazing series of stories with my camera and from my own eyes.
