Hello, my name is Tanya I'm from a little town in Ireland and I'm 19 years old. I'm currently studying fine art in college. My passion for photography really began when I was young at the time I didn't realize how much of a part it would play in my life. I love photography because it feels like it's a part of me. I really enjoy going out and taking different photographs that have powerful meanings for me, it's like my escape from the world even though the photo's are part of the world around me. What drives me to take better photos everyday is the fact that it could be my last you never know whats around the corner, these photographs will always remind me of the happy times and how precious life really is. To be quite honest without photography I would be lost. I love to use the darkroom I find it so interesting and experimental you never know what your going to get especially if it's pinhole photography.I would love to have my own business in the future. I feel that if i was to received this outstanding opportunity I would be the most grateful person alive. Even the thoughts of possibly being able to experience such an amazing scholarship makes me have butterflies in my stomach.
