I am a journalist and social media activist with over eight years of professional experience. I have invested most of my career in journalism and communication. I built an extensive experience in the field of international development-cooperation, holding high-profile positions with some of the biggest international companies and news agencies. I have also studied public policy, leadership, and international relations. I got several fellowships: the IMF’ Journalism Fellowship Program, 2010 to facilitate press coverage of the IMF’s Spring and Annual Meetings in Washington D.C., The Fellowship of the United States’ Mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization USNATO. 2010 USNATO Partners Tour for Multi-country Journalists, the AIDS 2010 Conference in Vienna, Austria. In 2012 I was awarded the Fulbright-Humphrey Fellowship in the field of Journalism and Communication - a program sponsored by the U.S. State Department- enabling me to pursue further professional experience in the U. S. A.

I am a 2012-2013 HHH/Fulbright scholar; recognized by the US government, Buffalo the State University of New York and the University of Maryland for outstanding achievements as a mid-career professional. A career sealed by a long-term commitment to "communication for development" and high profile experiences in journalism, international development cooperation sector, as well as training and advising. Meanwhile, teaching English and Arabic has been a throughout the time secondary engagement.
