My name is Jessica. I first learnt about photography when I was in high school. Back then we used film cameras and would develop our photos in the school's darkroom - I really miss this type of photography! My passion for photography bloomed during these years at school and since then my relationship with photography has taken me to many different parts of the world and in many workshop studios and camera clubs. I love learning about photography as there is always something new to uncover!
I would absolutely love the opportunity to learn photography exclusively from Jason Edwards - what an honour that would be! He is a true leader in his field and having the opportunity to accompany him in Peru would be an incredible experience. I have this close, spiritual connection with Peru - I don't know where it came from but I'm drawn to Peru! So mixing my passion of Peru and photography would be a dream come true. By having this experience, I would like to give back to the community and start making my calendars for charity again. I created photo calendars for 3 years and sold them and all profit was given to different charities. This was my way of giving back to the community. I hope to gain further knowledge and skills to make the quality of my photos in my calendars look 10 times better than before :) I want to learn and grow as a photographer and I think this opportunity with Jason will guide me in the right direction.
I'm from Melbourne and I currently run my own business which I love and I also like to help people grow their businesses. I'm also a keen writer and have plans to write a book.
