Traveling the world has been only a dream for me, until this past summer when I dropped my whole life to spend a few months backpacking through Europe by myself. Now, I'm addicted. I've realized how spending time in different cultures changes a person, brings out new interests and talents. For me, photography has never been an interest until I started keeping record of my journey. As I went, I learned how to compose a shot to get what I wanted, to best show the unique beauty I was seeing through my perspective. I also realized that I enjoy taking pictures of things that other people may pass by and never notice. I want to continue to grow this interest, and I'm looking into taking classes and investing in a better camera. I feel now that the whole world is at my feet, I just have to step out and see it. Being a travel photographer and writer has moved to the top of my career list, and I'm planning my next adventure. There has never been and will never be a better time in my life to establish a career as a professional traveler, and I feel that I can only continue to learn and become a better photographer and individual as I go.
