My Photo scholarship 2010 entry
Worldwide | Sunday, August 15, 2010 | 5 photos
These photos are from my adventures across the world. These photos were taken from Morocco, China, India, Benin and Hawaii. The photo from Morocco was shot at sunset in Marrakesh right before the night market exploded with people after their prayer. The photo from Benin took place in Ganvie, a town in the middle of a lake. This village is 300 years old and it was built to escape the Fon who would sell less powerful tribes to the European slave trade. Ganvie means "peace at last".The next photo was shot at sunrise on the banks of the Ganges in Varanasi, India. This is right before people took their morning bath as dead bodies float by them in the river. The picture of the kid was shot near Guilin, China. His people were pushed into the mountains by the Han majority. The picture of the couple was shot in Hawaii at sunset. Extremely romantic place with bundles of honeymooners. I am an experienced motivated traveler who has a passion to learn from other cultures. I believe the best way to learn about oneself, is to travel
