My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Morocco | Monday, January 14, 2013 | 5 photos

I am an Architect. I have always been interested in the relation people make with the space, how they transform it over time, adapt it to their needs and ideas of life. For me the design of a space is only a challenge when it takes into account a human factor in its deepest sense. A trip to Morocco in 2009 was very inspiring for me as this relationship of man an built environment was there so clear and so beautiful that the picture without a men feels incomplete.

While numerous exceptionally beautiful places in the World become a tourists destination, intrinsic relations between man and place change, leaving many of them deprived form life. Places become museums with local inhabitants adapting to new rules.

Both with my work as an Architect and with pictures I make as an amateur photographer while traveling, I am trying to show the importance of this relationship of man and space.

I would love to be able to capture It with more accuracy and quality. I fell I can improve my skills to give a voice to those unique relations that can one day disappear.
