My kind of adventure - Toronto Nuit Blanche 2012

We were inspired by the event Nuit Blanche, which transforms Toronto, Canada into a vibrant playground for adults. With local & international artists showcasing their work, & thousands of people pouring onto the streets, this all-night festival brings downtown to life. We wanted to share the moments that make it great.

Mike Cameron is an avid filmmaker & has worked on many of his own independent projects, including his current work on a series of completely improvised films. This practice capturing unrehearsed moments & editing them into a cohesive story make him the perfect cameraman & editor for this project. This opportunity would help him develop his filmmaking skills further.

Sybil Eastman is extremely passionate about adventure travel & getting off the tourist trail to experience a place. She’s travelled to every continent except South America (& Antarctica), & wants to discover Rio, meet its people & share her experiences. Though she always dreamed of being a travel journalist, it’s a tough industry to crack & she was forced to get a desk job. This opportunity would marry her on-screen ambition with her love of travel & get her closer to quitting the 9 to 5 life.
