    It's apparent this was built in the 1680s! Views[151] Another brightly colored building. Note how rough the cobblestone streets were. I was glad to have my walking sticks.     The lilac house, with purple being my favorite color, was my favorite. It was stunning with black trim. Views[198] There were lovely old streets with brightly colored houses. Views[167] We elected to tour Colonia del Sacramento, but Montevideo is a gorgeous city and we wished we'd had another day there. Views[182] This slum is where the president of Uruguay grew up! how do you escape? Views[224]
