The American Capsule

After 2 transits and 32 gruelling flight hours, I finally got to the land of the free and home of the brave. Everything was unfamiliar... The faces, the weather and the atmosphere. I died a lil inside when I took a ticket to get a yellow cab - a freakin' New York yellow cab! The ones we always watch on TV and have always dreamt of flagging one down! Coming to America itself was a dream come through...

New York definitely lives up to it's name - the city that never sleeps. The hustle and bustle at 2am says it all! Embracing the lights by Times Square, the cold and the noise... Who ever thought I'd step foot in this life changing city at the age of 24.
