Being presented with a perfect moment and not having the vision to see it or skill to realise it through an image for myself and all those not there to see it drives me and my desire to improve.

I can not sit back and allow myself to simply enjoy a moment as it happens without turning on my camera. I love the idea of chasing the perfect shot, something you may never achieve, but that gives you enough hope of success to justify making it a lifelong pursuit. I love both the idea of taking weeks to know a subject intimately to get just one shot and high pressure situations with limited time to capture a series of images.

Originality and adventure are very important to me. I have thrown myself down a rainforest ravine on my back, been eaten alive by insects and run through cacti wearing flip flops all in the name of a photo.

I am determined to do something that really matters to me. I believe I have the drive and potential to do well but have a lot to learn. Oman is a country with which many people are unfamiliar. I would love to experience it and help others experience it with me. To do this whilst learning from Jason and proving I have what it takes would mean a great deal.
