My name is Ben Hogarth.

I'm a television producer by trade but an avid photographer, who would love to enter the world of photo-journalism.

Adventurous, unique and inspiring places are the reason why I love to travel. And witnessing the people who live in these areas is where my true passion lies.

I try to capture this in my 'day job' in television and it's my focus when I photograph different regions and people around the world.

I really want my photos to inspire other people to buy a plane ticket and head off to see something new and challenging...in a way to feel like I do when I travel and take photos.

I think a photography scholarship would help me sharpen my skills and provide much needed experience in travel photography. Every time I travel and shoot I learn and a scholarship would be invaluable.

I'm also keen to show people my work which I have done already here. My photos in this journal took time and considerable effort and I love having the chance to show my work.
