Mexico City is one of the most populated cities in the world. And to travel by underground is a good reminder of that. The Metro transports 5 million people everyday.
While inside everything refers you to the bad things that happen in a city of this magnitude: homicides, crises, a permanent sense of needing money, floods, drug trafficking, and so on...there is a Metro Station -Metro Allende- where you go out from the crowd and chaos to a place that I call - a spot of LIGHT and hope- in other words a Party.
Among local shops and street vendors, you can be transported to an imaginary place.
A music band conformed by BLIND artists transform the street into a dance hall.
People passing by either tourists or locals, cant avoid standing, staring, clapping, singing or dancing. It is an environment of joy and fun. It is contagious, and a unique phenomenon that you just can´t ignore.
I am an archaeologist, but I can´t help to feel a deep interest in anthropology.
I believe life should be about exploring and contributing, achieving and inspiring.
This is my expression of an extraordinary existence.
I believe people can have impact, and each one is responsible for that impact, thru their uniqueness.
I believe in human potential and in the power of choice.
Currently I´m developing a social business, helping people to expand that potential thru contribution. Theo goal is to have more people being creative and let passive income do the rest. I love to capture things that touch you, inspire you, making you laugh or smile.
Life Is about giving love, passion, talent and creativity.
Thru photography I´d like to invite people and encourage them to sense the difference.
