BOAT IS BEING FREED for boating .The boatmen dont charge a penny in allowing boating to these ascetic Naga people in hope of earning blessing from these holy men who appear at this Ghats/river bank once in 12 years.

ASCETIC GIVING THE DIRECTION FOR BOATING AND HOLY DIP to his fellow Nagas. This Ascetic Naga also showed his skill to walk nude on the sharp objects with no harm to him.

ASCETICS ENJOYING THE DAY.Ascetics spend their day doing penances and worshipping Lord Shiva, the Diety of this place.They live on flesh,liqour,tobacco smoking,ganja,etc.They keep themselves nude and smear their body with Ash throughout the year irrespective of the climate.Once in 12 years they have interaction with public/ outside world.It is interesting that one foreigner lady has given currency to one of the ascetic for whom this wordly possession is meaningless.The other ascetic is giving Cheelum for smoking to another ascetic inside.They enjoy life like this.
