    A bunch of kids along with an elder guy is all smiles, as they pose with their photographs. I had done a small Help-Portrait session with these kids on my visit to Huchukpara, whereby I gave them a print of their portraits. None of them ever had a printed photograph of themselves before and this simple gesture lit up their priceless smiles! Seema studies at night under a solar charged lamp. She is confident that with the extra hours that she is putting in, she will give a tough competition to the students of other districts in the approaching board examinations. by: sudhyasheel Views[675] Sujoy and his gang are having a ball (literally!) at the local ground. An intense game of football is underway on the swampy fields of the village under the blazing sun. It rained heavily just a few hours back and now the sun is shining in its full glory. This fickle weather is ironically very symbolic of the winds of change that Huchukpara is witnessing of late. by: sudhyasheel Views[777] In the quaint hamlet of Huchukpara in Suri (Birbhum,West Bengal), Sujoy (the boy with the unbuttoned shirt) and his friends proudly pose in front of his Solar powered house. The Solar Panel can be seen at the background on top of an improvised bamboo pole. In this remote village with no electricity, Solar energy is literally lighting up a lot of lives and smiles. by: sudhyasheel Views[1125]
