A Quest for the Self

For a brief moment of contemplation,I thought that I was left behind like a kid abandoned by her own mother in the middle of nowhere.At a certain point you reach the edge.It’s whether you jump or you get back.You have two choices:you can whether throw yourself in the enormous unknown mystery and terror below or you can return to an empty and hollow life behind.Choices have always been a tackling issue.You can’t live with them;and you can’t live without them, neither! What to do then? You’ll be over-energized if you let yourself drown in the vicious and deceiving phantasmagoria made by your own mind to betray your own soul.Then you make decisions, imposed by enforced choices.See, even choices are not actually choices! Circumstances and conditions rule your life and shape your own path. You want material things.You want fame, money, sex…But these are not the keys to happiness!You always miss the important things,which are very simple stuff.These vanishing materials are just temporary but the unaware choice you make to get them is a long-term one.Sometimes it’s good to give up and not dare to make a regrettable decision.Make up your own mind.Set your own rules.Live your own life.Get rid of the middle-of-the-road notion of happiness.Focus on making the accurate choices,not trivial ones.You do always have a choice.So enlighten your mind with unlimited knowledge.Unleash your body and let it feel its surrounding. Unchain your soul and be a free spirit.Go for the things you are able to do.Don't just behold them.Reach your goalDon't let anything drag you down for any reason.I don't think there’s any good reason would keep you apart from being liberated from all boundaries,and happy.Have a sense of determination and not that of determinism.Life isn't about doing dull things following abstract and absurd procedures.Life is about creation and innovation.Great minds challenge lassitude and ignorance in a way to become independent.Small minds are but falling prey to dependence, sluggishness and apathy.The challenge is about taking risks in order to find yourself.All that you need is a bit of determination and self confidence.Be free instead of following the blind flock to god knows where!This is how life should be fought.You need to take every chance you’ve got! And this is how I ended up here;more responsible, conscious and FREE.All thanks to travelling outside my country, Tunisia, and seeing the world as it is, not as the television and the internet make me see it.
