Tempelhof has been a special place for me ever since I first moved to Berlin. It´s crazy that in the middle of a European capital there can be such a wide open space. It´s like a breath of fresh air to escape the hustle and bustle and watch the sunset, or have dinner in the garden. The thing I like about it most is that it represents the spirit of Berlin: for me, it stands for freedom, unity and a closeness between strangers.
I´ve never had any formal filmmaking training, but I´ve been making my own films for about a year now. For me, my passions for film and travel go hand in hand, and there is nothing I love more than to combine the two.
I want to learn and improve my storytelling skills as much as I can. I have never been to the US, and it would be a great challenge to be thrown into this new cultural environment. I am trying to work towards professional documentary filmmaking, so it would be amazing to work with Brian and learn from his experience.
My internet has been down the past 48 hours, so I missed the deadline - which I'm pretty gutted about!
I thought I would send it anyway, in case I'm not too late. In any case, feedback is always welcome :)
