I'm a National Geographic photographer: that's what I would like to answer to people asking me what do I do for living.

Some years ago I quit my job to explore as much as possible of this world, trying to turn my passions for travel and photography into my everyday life. I've traveled so far in 36 countries, and to reduce my footprint, in the last 3 years I decided to travel only by land, almost exclusively hitchhiking; doing so me and my DSLR covered more than 50 000 km.

I always practiced photography as a self-taught man, learning everyday something new. I think I have a natural skill in composition, isolating in my mind the frame that will be frozen in the shot. That's why I think that winning the scholarship and being mentored by Jason Edwards, would be an incredible opportunity to improve my technique and skills: listening, failing, succeeding, watching every single movement to gain as much as possible from this experience. Once in a lifetime opportunity.

Photography for me is emotion and joy, the emotion given by the picture and the joy of being the creator: I'm sure this scholarship would give me the means to share my passion with people.
