My name is Steven Dray. I am a Pittsburgh photographer. I have currently started a photography business from scratch but am working full time at a 9-5 job as well. I should be selected to win this contest because photography is my passion. I am not just another student, or hobbyist trying to get fun experience or handout. I have put everything on the line to be a photographer. Besides one community college class, I have taught my self all the fundamentals of photography. I am always evolving my photography with ambition and sometimes with ignorance. If I fail I don't have a second chance or a fallback plan. I would learn so much from this experience. The work involved in this project is what excites me the most. I am driven by this assignment, not intimidated. Give me this chance. I promise you that I will take this opportunity and run with it. Life comes down to making every situation into an opportunity to grow. I will do whatever it takes to get a shot, or capture a moment. I will become a true product of whatever I learn. I am the right person for this assignment. I grantee that if you choose me, I will become the next National Geographic photographer. Thank you.
