My name is Stephen Garner. I work as a field service engineer in the diagnostics industry.
My background is science and technology but I have always had a creative side which tries to overcome the logical side of me.
I've been interested in photography since high school but only seriously since digital has become more accessible and affordable. I'm at a stage now where I can operate the equipment almost without thinking and am trying to concentrate on the creative part.
The job I do allows some travel for work and a really love exploring new and unfamiliar places, I would always try to look for the more natural and non-touristic parts of an area to try to understand more about how the actual people live and think.
Photography I think is something that I am rather than something I do and would really like it to be something I do more and more, and the normal day job less and less.
