Walkabout typically refers to an Aboriginal rite of passage where young boys undergo a journey into the Australian wilderness for many months at a time. Obviously for me, my walkabout is a bit different, but I'm still viewing my four and a half month journey through Australia as a rite of passage and as a challenge for myself to see the world from a different perspective.
