Hello, I am Stephanie! I am a Singaporean living in London, soaking up the culture. I love it here! Being on this side of the globe has been a real eye-opener, and I am so thankful to my parents for sending me here. I study Fashion, by the way- Fashion Buying and Merchandising.

In the course of my time here, I have traveled every month. My time here is limited and I feel a strong sense of urgency to cover every nook and cranny of this foreign place I now call my home, and to leave without leaving any stone unturned.

It is a thrilling sensation every time I venture into a new territory. Just like people, every country is different, thus my strong desire to understand them as individuals.

I love the view of the world through the lens, as it silences all else, focusing only on the subjects in that frame.

If I win this scholarship, it would be a huge tick off my bucket list, to be taken under the wings of a world renowned photographer and to be established on National Geographic Channel! What I can offer is my promise to deliver photography which transforms my experience into still imagery; to show my point of view of the place, and innately, so that I can keep them for life.
