I had seen a cheetah with four cubs in this exact spot the previous evening and had hoped to find them first thing in the morning, only to find this lioness stalking the savannah.

Neck fighting between male giraffes was something I'd wanted to see for a long time before I captured this photo.

I found this elephant at the top of a small hill on a cloudy day, which contrasted the texture of the elephant from the grass.
