The beauty in useless

An Amateur trying my luck.

PHILIPPINES | Friday, 7 December 2012 | Views [229]

I always envisioned myself taking photos, those gigantic picturesque views of animals, nature and people.  My name is Jonard Diagone, an aspirant photographer from the Philippines. Photography for me is not just about taking great photos and dayum leave it as forgettable. Instead I myself dreamt that soon my photos will be exibited, will draw emotions from people.

Photography for me is an expression of life. it is an avenue for myself to express what I feel, to strengthen the love for nature and as well as to bring to awareness on caring mother earth and preserving the culture of each and every people in the world. Joining this contest WILL definitely change me as a whole. Aside from the perks of travelling and owning a DSLR which I cannot have personally, It's expensive. haha. The core on why did I join is to hasten my skills, jotting down everything that I need to learned in photography as a whole. Learning from the expert will even pave a way for me on landing a nice job.

My photos that i have submitted are not the best ones, but I sincerely took them with a heart. A hope that my entry will be chosen. Thare are unedited and raw. I personally choose NOT to edit them, for I believe that it draws more emotion when there's no touch happening. I am hoping that it would help me bag the scholarship that is a once in a lifetime chance.

To work with Jason Edwards a known photographer could be a great blessing. And I wouldn't missed a thing. I am ready for anything. Hoping that you guys will consider the dream I have. Crossing my fingers that you maybe not so impressed with the photos I have, but my determination and persistent to  pursue my dream to become a photographer would convince you.

So help me God.

All the best

Jonard Diagone
