My name is Mark Stanjo, I’m 26 and from Australia. I am not going to sit here and tell you that I have had a hard life. I have had great parents, found the love of my life at 16, and have been married since 21.

I see photography as a medium in which you can impact people in so many ways. I love it that one photo can change the world, can change somebody’s perception of life, inspire change or reflect on ones self.

I have been into the art for 2 years and feel like I am only scratching the surface of it. I love the technical side of it, and want to know my camera inside out and what does what, but also the humanizing of this technology and showing life though it. I never EVER want to stop learning about photography.

My dream is to inspire! Whether it is to change a mindset, make someone think or even inspire a person into photography. I want to be a person to change life for the better.

Those are some reasons why I humbly request for you to choose me for the trip to Oman. I have an open mind, willingness to learn, committed to photography and realize that if you want something bad enough you have to work for it!
