A FORGOTTEN ART

INDIA | Thursday, 4 July 2013 | Views [107]

SINCE MY CHILDHOOD DAYS I USED TO LOVE TO SEE PRINTED PHOTOS FROM ANY PRINTED MATERIALS. I BORN IN A PHOTOGRAPHY FAMILY. MY ELDER BROTHER, SINCE DECEASED WAS AN ACE PHOTOGRAPHER. WHATEVER LEARNT ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY I HAVE LEARNT FROM MY ELDER BROTHER.

I LOVE TOO TRAVEL. IN MY CHILDHOOD DAYS I WOULD THINK, IF WERE A CAMERA. WHEN I BECAME MAJOR I PURCHASED A CAMERA AND STARTED LDARNING HOW TO TAKE GOOD PHOTOS FROM MY ELDER BROTHER. TODAY I AM AN AFIAP, AFIP AND MHFCBA. I REGULARLY PARTICIPATE INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL PHOTO CONTESTS. WON VARIOUS AWARDS AND PRIZES. TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY IS MY FIRST LOVE.

MY SUSBMISSION IS FROM A BAHURUPEE( IN BENGALI)  FAMILIES OF BURDWAN. BAHURUPI IS A DECORATION BY PAINTING FACES AND WEARING DRESSES OF DIFFERENT GOD AND GODDES.
