World around

I opened my eyes, looked around...Radial rays of the Sun were squeezing through the linen curtains of my hotel room. What is it? Some strange noise was coming from somewhere. It was like crackling or chirping. The clock on the bedsidetable showed 7 a.m. Oh God, I could have slept for 2 more hours! What a begining of my long-waited vacation!I lent my ear to the balcony, which was the center of that siren. It was so hard to leave my bed but curiosity won. Besides yesterday's chech in was too late to wander around the hotel. And now it was so interesting to glance over the view from the balcony. As soon as I opened its door I found myself in an absolutely another world. The air was saturated with sweet moisture, which enveloped my body like a soft silk cloth. The greenery was rich on the diversity of flowers.The grey-and-green colour of the grass showed that it was still damp after the night rain. But the most tremendous thing was ahead.There was a wonderful show of the ocean in the distance... The Indian Ocean.So strong and wild, with huge waves, crashing onto the black reefs.Heavens, I am on Sri Lanka, finally!
After a moment of being touched I noticed some movements on every coconut palm around. The reason of my earl wake up was a family of chipmunks, jumping up and down, chirping with each other, as if discussing plans for the day. I was in a fairy-tail which would last for 7 more wonderful days...
