The opportunity of my life
Each time I return to my hometown, I have the opportunity to express all I feel, taking photos.

My town is 360 Km from Buenos Aires. Its name is Lincoln, in honour to the U.S. president. Actually, is not big enough to be called "city", but I love it so much. It is my home, where I grew up, I have been educated there, it is the place where all my relatives and friends live.
I´m 19 years old. I moved on to Buenos Aires last year because of my decision to start college. I want to be an Economist, and I´m working hard for that.
It was very difficult for me to start a new life, in a different place, in which I did not know anyone. But, I survived. Now, I have lots of friends, and obviously, I keep in touch with the others who are in Lincoln.
Photography helped me a lot in my new life. Everytime I travel to Lincoln to visit my parents and friends, I feel like a tourist. So, I go out with my camera to enjoy time shooting. I have some favourite places where I feel inspired. For example, my house´s garden, the park of the town, the countryside area.
I love taking photos of flowers, insects and animals too. I always think that photos make us discover other sides of them. I remember that on the last summer I found a green bug that was moving on a table, in the garden. I entered my home quickly looking for my camera, so that I could photograph it. When I saw the photo on my computer I felt fascinated with it. Never in life I had seen an insect from that distance.
In addition, photography is something special for me. It lets me see and understand reality from another point of view. It makes me happy when Im sad. It taught me how to feel free, how to express myself, how to disconnect myself from the world and my activities. But specially, one thing, how to feel at home, living alone in somewhere I dont know at all.
All the photos I upload were taken in Lincoln. Thanks.
