We got to Khalinogor, Southern Bangladesh, at 3 pm. Everybody was having their afternoon nap, their quiet sleep was interrupted by the arrival of a bunch of bideshi (foreigners): us. We were looking for Purnima, an old lady who is in the distance adoption program we work for. When we left, the whole village came to the river to wave us goodbye...
