Deep thinking about marsh research - Chesapeake Bay
I'm a scientist, bellydancer and jewelry maker...right now at least! I'm career switching to science and travel writing. It's time for me to leave academia, and I've made peace with that. I am a MacGyver and a pretendgineer, you'll want me in your survival group when the zombie apocalypse happens.
I've lived in Maryland, Florida, Key West (b/c totally diff than FL), Georgia, New Orleans and Oregon. I've been all over the US. I even was fortunate enough to go on a 2.5 month camping and hiking trip out west. I've been to the UK and have done research in Panama. I haven't been able to do much traveling recently, but I have that itch again - I feel alive!
