New buildings are rising behind the Maritime Museum, Brisbane City, January 2013. Cranes are a visible landmark. They shape the urban panorama of the city pointing to the sky. Will we touch it one day?

The Story Bridge is one of the main symbols of the city and offers a stunning panorama of its skyscrapers. This Bridge crosses the river in one of its tightest passages, Kangaroo Point, connecting the North side of the city, with the Southern suburbs. A Kangaroo's tail is hiding in the city's landscape and you may spot it if you go for a jog along the Bridge.

So much construction work is going on around here: many modern houses and ground-breaking buildings. However, every now and then, you can still spot an old wooden Queenslander.
