The villagers rely on the mighty Sigatoka river for bathing, washing and the like, fresh water streams from the hills for drinking water.

The Kava ceremony is central in Fijian custom and allows the people to come together as one when they share in the centuries old custom. The offering is central to any social & formal function as it officially opens and close dialogue. Served in a coconut bowl, I sip away, unique taste I must say !

Children are still able to play and learn from their environment around them.Living a life devoid of computerised gadgets and flashy things. Children enjoy swimming in the river.
