Traveling is a way to understand and appreciate. For me, it is more than just taking pictures or souvenirs. The art of travel is to discover new things, feel the magic in ordinary, and to celebrate the life. Also, travel makes me see the world in bigger perspective. Currently, I work as an urban designer in urban design firm in Indonesia. The work itself needs huge compassion to collaborate with various background of professionals. Traveling to many cities with different cultures is the way I learn multi-faceted discourse in urban design. The experience is only to see, but also to listen and urnderstand urban life. My major in architecture enriches my sense of space, behaviour, and details.
Writing, for me, is a about creating a history. When something came into writing, it become eternal like monuments of moments. Even gossip talks among neighbors in early morning could be magic. Words are my best media to deliver ideas and stories. One of my treasure is a book of poems which I wrote and collected up until now. My hobby in sketching gives more taste to my writing, hopefully grasp the words into visual reality.
