Your Backyard - If You Haven't Bean to Singapore

After living in Singapore for more than a decade, my favourite dessert has got to be bean curd, or commonly known as 'tau huey'. I have always been eating it but only discovered its name when I was 13 when I found a 'tau huey' shop near my home.
Bean curd is sold practically anywhere and everywhere in Singapore so I got my friend, Avery, to join me in trying the best bean curds here.
We had a few topic changes before we settled on bean curd. It was both something we loved and something we would want to share to people who have not been to Singapore. It was a fun experience. Having our school breaks, we decided to hop on this adventure, not just as friends spending time together, but also as film students trying to create our first mini travel film.
We're both studying in Film, Sound & Video at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and the knowledge and skills we've gained from school helped us in making this video.
Winning this scholarship would mean a lot to us, especially as young filmmakers. We both love trying new things and learning from new experiences. I hope to be making movies for Singapore someday while Avery wishes to not only be a filmmaker, but also a motion graphics designer.
