We met this "wise old man" on the subway. He told us a lot about traveling in Vietnam w/ detailed advice on where to stay and eat. He has been/lived everyway. He also personally escorted us to the Royal Palace.. and thankfully negotiated our way out of the subway since our tickets did not have enough money on them...
