Two young islander girls watch as crowds of tourists descend upon their normally quiet island of Lifou. Tourists are the biggest source of income for islanders and young girls often braid hair and sell bracelets on the beach for coins.
I'm a recently graduated Journalism student who dreams of becoming a photojournalist.
Photography inspires me in so many ways and I love nothing better than disappearing with my camera into a new, undiscovered world.
I caught the travel bug last year on a backpacking trip around Europe and have been travelling ever since, camera in hand.
