My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

As younger villagers move away to cities and the ones still dedicated to their farmland move into square box homes in the valley (in order to be closer to the spring as the water table dries up) the beautiful traditional yao, energy-efficient cave-homes dug into the hillsides, are crumbling back into the earth, burying the ancient village traditions and ways of life inside them.
