So here I am in Pisco, Peru, volunteering at an NGO called Pisco Sin Froteras, aka PSF.
I landed in Lima and spent a week avoiding English, trying my best at a crash course in Spanish language. I did this by hanging around tourist markets, talking with vendors trying to sell small nick nacks and handmade jewlery, asking questions, working through responses, and picking up important words here and there. This got me to a basic language level where I could make my way to a bus station, talk down prices, and within 7 days I found myself in Pisco.
